A NAHRA JUDGE

You may be qualified to be a judge at NAHRA Field Tests if you are a NAHRA member and have experience handling dogs in NAHRA Field Tests. Common traits of judges include:

• They are hunters
• They know how test features affect dogs and have run their own dogs in NAHRA tests
• They have empathy for other handlers - they've been there themselves
• They are firm, fair, and impartial
• They are flexible in adjusting to imperfect test conditions

If you are interested in becoming a judge, download the judge's application and judge's test and send both completed forms with $10 to NAHRA.

In 1999, the NAHRA Board of Directors, mandated that any NAHRA judge, whose membership expires and remains so for a period of three months or more beyond the expiration date, will be required to: a) update their membership, b) resubmit their judge application, and c) retake the judges test in order to be reinstated as a NAHRA judge.
