Hi. I live in Washington state. I have been fooling with Labs for quite a while mostly because I'm too lazy to learn to use my nose or to retrieve my own birds but I do like them a little.

I've been doing NAHRA stuff for several years too including handling, throwing and judging. I think theprogram is the best one around especially for the hunter.

I've been to the Invitational a couple of times and actually done well once. I've had two MHRs and one G. I still have two of these dogs (they're the short ones in the picture).

My family has been drawn in to the fun too. My wife, Claire marshals and throws good marks, my son JR is a budding handler/trainer.

I'm honored to be one of the judges for this year's RAW and happy all of you were able to come this week. Please do your best to have a good time regardless the weather or the results and I'll do my part to make the tests fun and challenging.
