NAHRA Awards, Certificates and Titles
- A Started Retriever (SR) Certificate is awarded to a dog that
earns 10 points (4 qualifications @ 2.5 points each) in the Started testing category.
- A Working Retriever (WR) Certificate is awarded to a dog that
earns 20 points (4 qualifications @ 5 points each) in the Intermediate testing category.
- A Master Hunting Retriever (MHR) Certificate is awarded to a dog
that either earns either:
- 100 points (5 qualifications @ 20 points each) in the Senior testing category, ...OR...
- 80 points (4 qualifications @ 20 points each) in the Senior testing category and already has a Working Retriever title.
- A Grand Master Hunting Retriever (GMHR) Certificate is awarded to a
dog that earns 300 points (15 qualifications @ 20 points each) in the Senior testing category.
- Title Certificates will be awarded on the completion of category point requirements and the submission of the dog's registration (copy) to NAHRA Headquarters. Office: (540) 286-0625 Fax: (540) 286-0629. See the rulebook for details.
- NAHRA titles are placed before the dog's name.
Brass Band/ Regional Invitational Field Test
- A dog that qualifies in either 4 Started or 4 Intermediate tests
within a calendar year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31) will receive a
Brass Band Award. The dog will also be qualified to participate in a Started/Intermediate Regional Invitational Field Test held during the following calendar year.
Richard A. Wolters (RAW)/NAHRA Invitational Field Test
- A dog will be qualified to participate in the RAW/NAHRA Invitational Field Test if:
- A dog qualifies in 5 Senior tests between May 1 of the preceding year to April 30 of the Invitational year...OR...
- A dog earns its MHR title by April 30 of the Invitational year
